Why study in Italy

Italy has a strong and consistent reputation for education worldwide, boasting one of the world’s highest percentages of higher education-qualified populations. The country consistently maintains high literacy and education rates, and offers a world-class education system with fair tuition fees. Italy is home to 37 government-funded universities and several private institutions, along with numerous specialized higher education institutions. In the 2023 QS World University Rankings, 24 Italian institutions made it to the top 500, with 7 ranking in the top 100. The highest-ranked of these is the University of Bologna, followed by institutions like the Politecnico di Milano and Sapienza University of Rome.
